For Cranberry-Ketchup Chutney:
1 cup fresh cranberries
1/2 cup cranberry juice (sweetened or unsweetened)
1/2 cup Red Duck Ketchup (any flavor — we used Original)
2 tablespoons minced shallot
2 tablespoons honey (more or less to taste — feel free to omit if you used sweetened cranberry juice)
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt, to taste

For sliders:
4 biscuits, store-bought or homemade (cooked)
4 turkey sausage patties, store-bought or homemade (cooked)
4 thin slices of apple (a sweeter variety, like Honeycrisp)
4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
A big handful of arugula, tossed in a bit of olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper
About a cup of the Cranberry-Ketchup Chutney

To make chutney, combine all ingredients except for salt in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Turn heat down to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until thick and bubbly. Add salt to taste, and more honey if desired. Set aside to cool for a bit.

To assemble sliders, split biscuits apart and divide the arugula, apple, sausage, goat cheese, and chutney between them. Enjoy immediately. 

Makes 4 sliders and thus feeds 2 hungry people, or 4 not-so-hungry people.
