1 batch pre-made pizza dough
4 slices bacon
3/4 cup canned cannelini beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup Red Duck Smoked Applewood Molasses BBQ Sauce
1/8th of an onion, sliced thin
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, for sprinkling on top (optional)

Preheat oven (with a pizza stone in it, if you have one) to as high as it will go (at least 425 degrees Fahrenheit).

Cook bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until the fat is rendered out, but bacon is not quite crispy yet. Transfer to paper towels to drain, and when cool enough to handle, slice into 1-inch pieces.

Stretch out pizza dough to a 12-inch circle, into a pizza pan or over a pizza peel, if using a pizza stone and peel. Spread pizza with all but 2 tablespoons of the Red Duck Smoked Applewood Molasses BBQ Sauce. Toss the rest of the BBQ Sauce gently with the beans.

Sprinkle about half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce-covered dough, followed by the bacon, beans, and onion. Top with the rest of the mozzarella and the Parmesan.

Bake in your really, really hot oven for about 12 minutes, until dough is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, if using, and serve immediately.

Makes one 12-inch pizza/serves about 4 (or 2, if you're us and you're really hungry).
